Overview

KiPAM is a security-hardened, offline-first personal health record (PHR) mobile ecosystem designed to give patients absolute cryptographic ownership and complete offline availability of their sensitive clinical data, immunization records, longitudinal vital signs, and diagnostic summaries.

Key Architectural & Engineering Highlights

• Zero-Cloud Local SQLite Database: All structured health data is stored locally in an encrypted relational schema with zero unsolicited external telemetry.
• AES-256-GCM Backup Encryption: User backups are encrypted client-side using authenticated AES-256-GCM encryption with randomized nonces.
• PBKDF2 with SHA-512 Key Derivation: Master passphrases undergo 100,000+ iterations of PBKDF2 key stretching before deriving cryptographic encryption keys.
• Biometric Security Gateways: Hardware-backed Android Keystore and biometric authentication protecting every clinical entry point.
• Cryptographic Offline QR Data Exchange: Instant peer-to-peer or doctor-to-patient record transfer via segmented, compressed QR codes without network requirements.
• Longitudinal Health Tracking & Analytics: In-app interactive charting of blood pressure, glycemic indexes, oxygen saturation, and body composition.
